I struggled with this video so freaking much. I don’t know how many people notice that, but I try to match lyrics to videos as much as possible and it was supper challenging with this lullaby. For example, you can’t exactly match Jaskier to “paid in coin of gold” line even keeping in mind the “toss a coin to your witcher” song, it simply wouldn’t make sense visually. So yeah, the whole song was pretty much a challenge between scenes that fit the song but would make for a dull video and scenes that make sense to use but don’t necessarily match the lyrics. I think in the end it turned out pretty great, at least I like it way more than I did halfway through editing it.
Also I was pretty torn between game’s version of the song and Karliene’s cover, but the latter won ‘cause it’s longer and has a dynamic bit at the end.
On a completely unrelated note, I really liked the show's Triss. I fully expected not to like her, but she surprised me.
