This is some of the most ludicrous theology you’ll ever hear. Lindy-Ann Hopley was commissioned out of the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry by Bill Johnson and Kris Vallotton. Whether or not she’s still officially platformed, she’s still in that church often and has plenty of pictures there.

In this clip she claims Jesus physically walked into her room with a ring, proposed marriage to her, and calls on men and women to enter a “oneness union” with Him as their bridegroom king. She takes random gifts and calls them prophetic, redefines the meaning of shalom, and mixes self-esteem slogans with Christian words.

My intention is to bring truth to her spiritual victim that Jesus is her husband. These false prophets do so much damage for so many people. Please show me a prayer for people that accept her.

The Bride of Christ is corporate (Ephesians 5:25–27, Revelation 19:7–9). Prophecy must be tested (1 Thessalonians 5:21, 1 John 4:1). The gospel is about the finished work of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), not mystical romance visions. This is another spirit and another Jesus (2 Corinthians 11:4).
