In the core it's found
27 million (degrees) Fahrenheit
Moving outward now

Inner to outer now
It's making light, giving life
Through the layers now

We've only just begun
Radiative next in sun
Surrounds core not as warm
Heat spreading out through the sun

The temperature cooling some
To 4.5 million (degrees)
Waves go out through the sun
These are layers of the sun

Hydrogen is split apart
Radiative it spreads
And the Convective is churning
Photosphere is surface
Chromosphere and Corona
These are layers of the sun

Convective
Third layer now
Currents here, moving up
And they're moving down

Fourth layer
Granule patterns
Photosphere it is here
And sunspots are found
Fifth layer of the sun
Solar flares are done
The Chromosphere it comes
It's heating up on the sun

Coronal mass ejections
The last of the sun
4 million degrees warm
Corona's crown of the sun
