“La Reconquista” is a song of the band Zapato Veloz, from 2004.
It pretends to be humorous, so you shouldn’t take it seriously.
Here are two details that I consider important:
Almazor didn’t lead nor participate in the Battle of Covadonga, mainly because he was born years later.
It isn’t clear if Mohamed refers to Almanzor, but it’s likely used because it’s the most common name in Arabic.
