Description
It's been 30 years since I composed this song inspired by the horrific ethnic cleansing happening in the former country of Yugoslavia. As much as I love the song, it is disheartening that the song is still germane as wars rage in the Ukraine, in Gaza and in Israel. We may be hearing "the prayer of the children" but we have yet to really doing anything more. Keep praying in whatever mode you prefer, This song isn't about "-isms" or "-ologies" but about our shared love of our children and the wish for peace. ~ Kurt
