"Korobeiniki,"
a classic Russian folk song, was popularized in the 80s/90's when recreated in 8-bit audio and featured as "Track A" on Tetris, the NES(Nintendo) "drop & fit the puzzle pieces," game that was so Nostalgic to that era.
Nikolay Nekrasov wrote the original song which was a tragedy poem that was later published in a magazine in the 1860's. No spoilers on the poem story, you'll have to go read it...
Anyways, I thought this arrangement sounded cool on classical.
