so before anyone asks, who is ‘rhea’? is she an ex or a crush or my hot neighbour? no i live next to an old couple, who are infact very sweet and kind. the truth is i don’t know anyone named rhea. diarrhea? yeah. but no, not rhea. this song is about relationships that we hold on to, even after they are supposedly over. have i had those? no because you need to be in a relationship first (lol). but have people left when i’ve had feelings for them? all the time. maybe i should start having feelings for corona, so it can leave too. this tune is so close to me regardless - i’ve spent weeks just sitting in front of my laptop, tweaking the tiniest of sounds and rearranged the song a million times :)))))

but more importantly, i really hope everyone’s staying indoors and safe. lots of people saying if you don't come out of this having learned a new skill, new language or written something incredible then you're a failure. it’s not true. this is a trauma, not an opportunity. it’s ok if all you do is just get through it and subscribe to my channel.
