Sometimes its hard to put yourself back into the very moment that you wrote a song. Time heals and memories fade - something that can be a gift in itself. But the music associated with a memory is a time capsule where moments are frozen in time and locked in forever.
"Just a Teardrop in the Ocean" is not just a song, but it's a memory; a deep and painful one that I tried to put away and bury forever. It's music that was written in the moment of such pain one dark evening in late 2020.
