The Butterfly Lovers ('Liang Zhu'') is a Chinese legend, it was one of China's four great folktales.
The Butterfly Lovers' Violin Concerto adapted the ancient legend and it features a solo violin played using some Chinese techniques.
The instrument used in the video is called Erhu, it is a traditional Chinese instrument with only two strings. It is also known in the Western World as the Chinese violin.
梁祝是中国的传奇故事，是中国四大民间故事之一。
