Southbound Sessions Presents: John Baumann - "South Texas Tradition"

"This song is really about all the things I loved growing up and how I have carried them with me throughout my life. I think a lot of people can relate to it." Says, John.

For years, John Baumann has been blazing his way in the Texas Country music scene. His songwriting has been heard all over country music for years including "Gulf Moon" which was recorded by Kenney Chesney. John is also a member of the Texas group "The Pandhandlers" along with Josh Abbot, William Clark Green, and Cleto Cordero (Of Flatland Calvary).

This one started with a random Instagram DM I shot John a while back about potentially shooting a video. I've been a huge fan of John's work for many years and was excited that we were able to line up our schedules to meet. We actually were able to meet up at a venue and shoot a previous video (coming soon). Then we had this opportunity to cross paths again and shoot this session for John's new single "South Texas Tradition". We hope you enjoy it!
