Description
Performing this weekend at Concert in the Country, the largest fundraiser of the year for “Boots For Troops,” Jake Worthington was a runner-up in 2014 on the hit singing competition show “The Voice.” Mentored by Blake Shelton, Jake released 3 songs which all charted in the Billboard Top 20. His debut EP from 2015 also made the Billboard charts, and his videos were seen on CMT and GAC, followed by his 2017 sophomore EP, “Hell of a Highway.” Currently working on his first full-length album, Jake grew up on all the music his parents played like George Jones, Nelly and Kid Rock. He also lists AC/DC and Prince among his influences, but his sound is straight-up traditional country, which can be heard by his songs performed on Great Day today.
