Description
The first man I ever heard sing this song was bluegrass legend, Dr. Ralph Stanley. However, several years later, when my Dad and I were traveling playing gospel music, I met a man by the name of David Marshall. David played a similar rendition of this song that night and it so influenced me that I had to work up a version of my own. For those wondering, my guitar is tuned down to “DADGAD” as this allows for some very interesting suspended voicings. Hope y’all enjoy!
