Description
Inveraray & District Pipe Band competing in the Grade 1 bands final at the 2025 European Pipe Band Championships. These were held in the City of Perth, Scotland, on Saturday 09 August 2025.
The band, who were led by Pipe Major Stuart Liddell MBE and wearing Ancient MacCallum tartan, were awarded 1st place in the Grade 1 final after their MSR and Medley performances, and first in drumming for the Drum Corps. The tune set listed picked was My Dream Valley on the Road to Glendarual, Cathy Anne MacPhee's, The Famous Baravan, The Herring Wife, Neil Sutherland of Lairg, Gavin Ferguson, Whillie Cumming's Rant, My Dream Valley on the Road to Glendaruel.
Hosted by Perth and Kinross Council, in conjunction with the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association, this incredible spectacle involved over 100 pipe bands from all over the world.
