I've always loved this song. You don't get too many songs with this kind of message, eh? It was released in June 1965 as the B-side of The Byrds' single, 'All I Really Want To Do'. It was written by band member Gene Clark, who also sang lead on the recording. It's also the second track on my favourite Byrds' album, 'Mr Tambourine Man'.
