Description

Gimme Danger was off the bands third LP “Raw Power” released in 1973. It was mixed by Iggy Pop(founder/singer of the Stooges) and David Bowie. The Lp revolves around early punk and garage rock sounds.

Iggy pop and the stooges faced some real hard times, trials and tribulations early in their career. It took the group a while for their sound to catch on. They would often face unruly crowds, getting objects and bottles thrown at them etc. It was until some heads in the industry saw what they were doing and believed in the art the band was making. David Bowie was a big proponent for the stooges.
