I can't believe I got to make this video. Stepping into the halls of the Vienna Philharmonic Ball, in my DREAM gown, sparkly chandeliers, and classical music that transports you back in time to a historic fairytale, ahhh I still think I dreamed this whole thing up. In this video, I bring you along as I experience my first slice of Sacher Torte, spend a day princessing around Vienna, waltz until 5am, and stride down the gilded halls of a royal palace. I hope this video makes you feel like you’re right there beside me, dancing until our feet ache and walking home under the moonlight with a bouquet of roses in our hands ✨🌙🥀

Jared and I had plans for lots of drone shots in Vienna, until we discovered how incredibly strict the rules are. You have to request permission weeks in advance, file paperwork, and coordinate with a specific drone office (totally understandable, but news to us!) Since we didn’t have approval, we didn’t get to fly our own drone. All the aerial shots in this video are licensed through Artlist and are used to help tell the story as accurately (and beautifully) as possible.

– Taste-testing the famous Sacher Torte (made from the original recipe dating back to 1832)
– An afternoon of pampering & princessing before the ball
– Running through the rain in heels (not very smart but cinematic)
– Attending the Vienna Philharmonic Ball & watching the debutantes perform
– Waltzing, live orchestras, and the most magical ballroom dance floor
– Collecting roses at 5am (possibly my favorite tradition of ball season)
– Walking to our hotel under the moonlight for breakfast with friends
