Hikaru Utada performed a new live event in January 19, 2022 called 40 iro-iro, in celebration of her 40th Anniversary. She had a Q&A session with fans, talk with actors Takeru Satoh and Yuriko Yoshitaka, who starred the 2022 Netflix drama First Love Hatsukoi. In addition to this, Utada performed 3 songs at the end of the event: First Love, Rule (Kimi ni Muchuu) and a cover version of Bad Bunny's Me Porto Bonito. The audio was released of the first 2 songs were released digitally in February 17, 2023.
