Description
When "Heavy Metal" the movie was released in 1981, there was also a music soundtrack containing songs by such artists as Cheap Trick, Sammy Hagar, Nazareth, Black Sabbath, Stevie Nicks, Blue Oyster Cult, Don Felder and DEVO. DEVO had 2 songs in the movie, but only one appeared on the
soundtrack, and it wasn't in the movie until the end credits were rolling. That song was "Working in a Coal Mine" but a more significant contribution was their song which played during the bar scene with Taarna the Tarrakian. "We're Through Being Cool" was not on the soundtrack. Here is my
humble production of the full length song with scenes from the movie. Please Enjoy, fans of DEVO.
