Australia's Clayton Doley, an amazing, creative and innovative young Hammond Organ player who also joined in on vocals.
Providing vocals was Kiran Ahlawalia, whose reputation as a singer of Indian Ghazals is well established in Canada and around the world. Born in India, raised in Canada, and now living in New York City, she is also the 2012 Juno winner in the World Music Album of the Year category.
Multi-instrumentalist Steve Marriner, lauded as one of Canada's finest harp players, also played drums and baritone guitar. "At age 14, Marriner won the Ottawa Blues Harp Blow-Off. Since then, he's risen through the blues scene playing with Larry "The Bird" Mootham, Johnny Russell, JW Jones and Sue Foley. He's played the Ottawa Bluesfest and earned three Maple Blues Award nominations," writes the Ottawa Citizen. Marriner also plays harp, baritone guitar and vocals with Ottawa blues band MonkeyJunk.
Harry Manx breaks out a Mohan Veena (a 20-stringed sitar/guitar hybrid) during this show but jokes he only plays three of the 20 strings, saying he's not sure what the other 17 are for.
