Description
Track 4 from his seventh solo album “Low Country Blues” released in 2011 copyright Rounder Records. His first album in fourteen years, it’s comprised of cover songs, and is an homage to the blues masters who had come before and influenced him from his earliest days. The album’s excellent production breathes new life into these classic songs, and his new original “Just Another Rider” fits in seamlessly with the rest of the album. It was nominated for the 2012 Grammy for best blues album, but the award went to his friend, Derek Trucks’ “Tedeschi Trucks band” for their album “Revelator.” Written by McKinley "Muddy Waters" Morganfield and produced by T Bone Burnett. I'm goin' away now baby, I won't be back no more
I'm goin' back down south, child, don't you want to go?
Woman I'm troubled, worried all in my mind
I can't be satisfied but I just can't keep from tryin'
I feel like snappin' my pistol in your face
Stone-cold graveyard gonna be your restin' place
Woman I'm troubled, worried all in my mind
Well, I can't be satisfied but I just can't keep from tryin'
All in my sleep, hear my doorbell ring
Lookin' for my baby, ain't seen a doggone thing
Woman I'm troubled, worried all in my mind
Well, I can't be satisfied but I just can't keep from tryin'
Well I know my baby, she gonna jump and shout
That old train be late, man, and I come walkin' out
Woman I'm troubled, worried all in my mind
I can't be satisfied but I just can't keep from cryin'
