"Gem of Panem," the early national anthem of Panem recreated as written in Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. While reading this prequel to The Hunger Games, I was inspired to write out what the song would sound like in real life. The anthem is mentioned several times in the book by Coriolanus Snow's grandmother and notably when young Snow sings the song for the ceremony of the 10th annual Hunger Games.
