Description
The Musical-oratorio, Francis of Assisi, by Tove Lind and Tommy Jervidal, had a successful premiere 2010 in Musikhuset Aarhus, Denmark. Directed by Helge Reinhardt, arranged by Anders Barfoed and produced by May Music. Afterwards it has been staged as musical and concerts around Europe, in 2013 in Assisi, Italy and in Vienna, Austria. In Vienna it was staged by Franz Haberhauer, Andrea Kreuziger and Wiener JugendChor. In 2015 there were concerts in both Randers, Denmark and Cracow, Poland, featuring Tomas Ambt Kofod as Francis and Louise Fribo as Clare. The conductors in Cracow, Randers and Aarhus were Tomasz Chmiel, Niels Bastrup and Mikkel Rønnow. See more on www.frans-assisi.dk and www.maymusic.dk
