My castle

This is the lagoon,
My garden is the Lido.
My curtain,
The light of the moon.



Gondolier of the Grand Canal,
For fanal
I have the window
Where your black eyes light up
every night,
My wife.


My gondola is for happy people :
Two to two,
I walk them around,
And the light, cool winds
Are discrete
On my domain.


I’ve been in love,
More days
And of crazy nights,
That Venice has no islets
That its waves
Do have gondolas."
