Science Photo Library is proud to take part in Creative Skillset’s Media Archive Traineeship scheme. It’s great to be able to help young talent get a start in the industry, and to be able to help people develop skills that will serve them well in their careers.

We’ve really enjoyed having Emily with us for the last ten weeks, and we’re very grateful for the hard work she’s put in. This reel showcases some of the skills she’s picked up with us, but more than that, highlights her own creative talent.

This reel showcases a selection of Emily's favourites from the Motion archive, including clips that are brand new to the collection and exclusive to SPL.

With content spanning the entire Motion gallery, this short reel features extraordinary and colourful clips of animals, the ocean, the environment, space, healthcare and science & technology. Highlights to look out for include: a Venus flytrap in motion, synchronised sheep, jellyfish blooms and a flabbergasted monkey.
