Elvis recorded 'Hawaiian Wedding Song' on 22 March 1961 in Hollywood, California at Radio Recorders, and was the first track recorded that day. It was originally recorded for inclusion in Elvis' 1961 movie 'Blue Hawaii',

It appears that Elvis used it only once on his final tour, this final version in Rapid City on 21 June 1977. Elvis concludes the song, as he often did, with a kiss and a scarf for Kathy Westmoreland, who had been dueting with him on the song.
