This song was released in 1972. The digging bass line by Emory Gordy Jr. seems monotonous at first impression, but it contains interesting musical ideas and finesse.

Recorded using Garageband and OBS Studio powered by Presonus Studio 68c. The bass is Fender Road Worn '50s Precision Bass, tone 70%. The soundchain includes Empress compressor, and SansAmp Tech 21 Bass Driver D.I. V.2 (EQ flat).

Not necessarily 100% like the original, but to be used in a cover band. This is neither a studio recording nor an educational video.
