Description
DONA NOBIS PACEM was composed in 1985 and takes it Latin text from the last words of the Ordinary of the Mass, Dona nobis pacem (Grant us peace). DONA NOBIS PACEM is dedicated to the Wake Forest University Concert Choir and its director at the time, Dr. Brian Gorelick. It is this ensemble who gave the piece its World Premiere on 6 November 1986 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
