There was a movie adaptation of this video game! Unfortunately, it’s so awful that you would want to just forget it ever happened! Video game adaptations rarely live up to the hype surrounding them, as is the case with this blatantly whitewashed movie vaguely set in an alternate-reality medieval Iran. Even with big Hollywood stars like Jake Gyllenhaal, Gemma Arterton, and Ben Kingsley, this 200-million dollar movie was one of the biggest flops of 2010. Worse yet, it tarnished one of the best early 2000s games.
