Devo is a 5 member new wave group that formed in Akron Ohio in 1973.
"New Traditionalists" was released on August 26, 1981 on Warner Brothers Records.
This is their 4th studio album and their follow-up to "Freedom of Choice" which contained "Whip It!"
"Working In A Coalmine" was planned for this album but was used on the "Heavy Metal" soundtrack instead so Warner Brothers included it in a limited run as a 7" single with the LP.
Alan Myers passed away on June 24th 2013.
Bob Casale (Bob 2) passed away on February 17th 2014.
