Happy to present the second episod of our focused serie of mixes on the Detroit Legend !! ⭐
After a first journey that shon a proper light on the House side, deep and jazzy vibe, Delano Smith experimented at the beginning of his carreer, this new set embraces his "dark shades" side to take us on a dub techno, hypnotic techno house grooves electric journey !

No surprise, many of the vinyls we play here come from the German-based record label, owned by Yossi Amoyal , @Sushitech , and his sister label Pariter. Delano himself helped shape the label footprint sound with his early releases, especially the "Shades Of Detroit" album whose ambiguous tone oscillates from dark, ambient dub techno, to lighter dub techno infused with house groove. We took the magic "Wires" classic track from it ! 💥

This set dwells deep in the darker side of Delano, with raw, cold, industrial, ethereal dub techno, yet keeping this punchy, emotional house groove only the D knows how to do, this intricating rhythm that opens the lights through the dark ! Shoutouts to the 3 remixers also appearing on the tracklist Makam, Steve O'Sullivan & Carcl Craig with his mind-blowing reconstruction of "Midnight Hours" ! Also includes one of Delano's last productions in collaboration with French dub master Brawther 🔥
