Description
In 2022, the Museum celebrated the opening of its major exhibition "Western Edge: The Roots and Reverberations of Los Angeles Country-Rock," presented by City National Bank, with a concert featuring an all-star lineup. For the first time, that concert is available to stream. In this clip, Rosie Flores and James Intveld perform the song “Crying Over You," which was written by Intveld and released as the first single from Flores's major label debut on Reprise Records.
San Antonio-born singer, guitarist, and songwriter Rosie Flores launched her solo career in 1987. "Rosie Flores," her debut on Reprise Records, received airplay at country radio and led to an ongoing career with an international following. Her 1995 recordings with rockabilly pioneers Wanda Jackson and Janis Martin helped revive their careers.
Made possible in part by exhibit travel partner American Airlines.
