March 25, 2014 WASHINGTON DC - Steven Tyler of Aerosmith performed on the rooftop of 101 Constitution NW with Mindy Braasch, Nashville songwriter, as the opener. Tyler, introduced by David Israelite, CEO of NMPA, and other songwriters were in Washington to lobby about illegal use of intellectual property of singers and songwriters. Senator Grassley received an award, Congressman John Conyers joined him on stage and a birthday cake was presented to Tyler whose birthday is March 26.
