Cheruvimskaja Piesn is a Russian Orthodox chant of the Cherubikon. The hymn symbolically incorporates those present at the liturgy into the presence of the angels gathered around God's throne.

Мы, таинственно изображающие
Херувимов и воспевающие
Животворящей Троице Трисвятую песнь,
да оставим ныне всякую житейскую заботу

чтобы нам принять Царя всех [разумных существ],
невидимо сопровождаемого,
словно телохранителями,
воинствами Ангелов.
Славьте Бога, хвалите Бога,
восхваляйте Господа.

We who mystically represent the Cherubim,
and who sing to the Life-Giving Trinity the thrice-holy hymn,
let us now lay aside all personal desires,
that we may receive the King of all,
escorted invisibly by the angelic orders.
