Under the direction of the renowned conductor Zenaida Romeu, the ensemble presents a fresh and vibrant repertoire featuring works by distinguished Cuban and international composers such as Egberto Gismonti, José María Vitier, Ernán López-Nussa, Carlos Fariñas, and Roberto Valera.

🎬 Recorded live in the courtyard of Havana’s City Museum, this concert is a cultural gem for lovers of chamber music and Cuban musical heritage.

Camerata Romeu is Latin America's first all-female string orchestra, founded in Havana in 1993 by Maestra Zenaida Romeu. The ensemble blends classical string traditions with Cuban and Latin American rhythms, creating a unique and vibrant musical identity. Romeu is also a professor at the Higher Institute of Art in Havana and has given masterclasses worldwide. Camerata Romeu has performed at international festivals, recorded award-winning albums, and has been featured in documentaries such as Cuba Mia, broadcast by PBS and arts networks globally.
