Sudha Ragunathan is a well-known singer in the Carnatic musical tradition of southern India. She continued training under Sri. B.V. Lakshmanan. Even as a student, Smt.Sudha Ragunathan received the Central Government Scholarship for Young Artists for advanced training in Carnatic Music. She was awarded Padma Sri award in the field of Carnatic music (vocal) in 2004,
Bharat Jyothi in 1998 from The Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, New York
Sangeetha Choodamani in 1997 from Sri Krishna Gana Sabha, Chennai And Many more.

Recently, She delivered a mesmerizing musical performance at Kanha Shanti Vanam.
