Description
Blue Mountain Song is a "train song" music video depicting a slice of the 1929 Depression Era when once prosperous heads-of-households made their way south to Birmingham in search of paying jobs that would help sustain their families back home in the Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, and West Virginia areas. It was a time not unlike our own present day economic conditions in ways affecting the ability of middle class and working people to support and sustain their families.
