"Blue Monday" is a song by the British New Wave pop band New Order. The song has been labeled a "synth-pop classic" as well as "Alternative dance"; it has been noted as an example of the "Hi NRG" style of club music as well.

The original "Blue Monday" single was a big hit, making the Top 10 in many countries.

It was remixed by the band New Order twice, in 1988 and 1995. The 1988 Remix peaked at number 3 on the UK chart and is the best-selling 12" single of all time – it has sold 1.16 million copies in all formats, including the 1988 and 1995 re-releases.

"Blue Monday" has been widely acclaimed, and has been covered by bands as well.
