I made this cover of the Turkish folk song “Katibim”. The lyrics are about a clerk and how his clothes fit him so well. In the last lines the narrator tells how they would fit well as a couple with the clerk as well.

Because the music is somewhat chip-tune-ish, I thought a pixel art could go well and made this little animation. There is our couple, traveling on a small boat crossing the Bosphorus, going to Üsküdar (a place mentioned in the lyrics). he As I was trying the effects on the video editing app, I enjoyed all of them so much that I kept them all, so it is a bit all over the place in terms of effects. I always have a hard time deciding, if you have a preference let me know :)
