Nightmare is a fitting title to this record. Not because its a bad album, quite the opposite. Rather, its apt because of what A7X went through before even laying down a note. With The Rev's passing, the drummer's chair was vacated, so Mike Portnoy answered the call and handled skins on this album, and did a great job in the process. Solid album, rich with emotion and truth. Some of the band's best tracks lie on this one.
