To me, the sound of fall has always been jazz. It’s when I break out my coziest sweater and put on Sinatra, Ella, Nina, even some Harry Connick Jr if I’m feeling saucy. I hope when you listen to this record you get that cozy feeling.

This record is so different from anything I’ve ever done before. I made Spring and Summer almost entirely alone, which is why it is so incredible that I got to have so much collaboration on Autumn. All I did on this album was write and sing — every note you hear was thanks to incredible players. Thanks to @katielynnesharbaugh and @caitygyorgyjazz for lending their incredible voices to these duets. Thanks to @jacobmann6057 for his arranging and conducting on the big band tunes.

The other half of this record was recorded on a brisk and sunny afternoon with four wonderful players. @zachmarsh on keys, @halrosenfeld on kit, @karl.mccomas.reichl and @ajanik07 on bass and trumpet again. I loved that day and I love these tunes!

The whole thing was mixed/mastered by the incomparable Mike Bouska. @tristenmartino did the album art — and all my album art! It took talent and effort from so many wonderful people, and I’m so thankful for them!
