"If you can't sleep in the middle of the night... SIT DOWN AT THE PIANO! That is how ANGEL IN MY POCKET came to be. I didn't realize at the time that I was being led to my piano by my Guardian Angel, She was definitely there with me on this cold night about 6 months after my Mom and secret angel left for the heavens above. I missed her so much and she is truly the inspiration for "Angel in my Pocket". So with pen in hand I was guided in the middle of the night to write these lyrics. It was supernatural as the lyrics poured out almost faster than I could write them. It was if I was taking narration from above, or perhaps from my angel herself. This song is dedicated to my Mom, my best friend and my hero."

Janice Marie

Janice and I met years ago when she was a guest on my radio talk show Backstage Live on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ in Fond du Lac, WI. This was one of the greatest directions I received from my Angel! We decided to perform together all over Wisconsin. I do not think
I have ever met a more loving human being with such great musical talent. Because of her, I was able to open my eyes to new and better ways of expressing the music inside of me. After almost 12 years on the road with her, I have always looked forward to the next performance! Our first job was background jazz at the Experimental Aircraft Association in Oshkosh. From there, it blossomed to playing the very best jazz festivals in Wisconsin, including the Kettle Moraine Jazz Fest and the Lacrosse Jazz Fest. No other singer I have ever seen can jump from Glenn Miller, to Fleetwood Mac, to Rock, to Country, and then belt out a jazz tune all in the same set! Janice is one of Wisconsin’s finest performers and I am so thankful to be her stage partner. Would you like to be on our mailing list?
