*Kort tid etter venen Broonzy døydde i 1958, spelte Little Walter inn «Key to the Highway» som ein Chicago-blues (Checker 904). Innspelinga vart gjort i august og med seg hadde Walter (vokal og munnspel) Muddy Waters (slidegitar), Luther Tucker (gitar), Otis Spann (piano), Willie Dixon (bass) og George Hunter (trommer).[5] Songen vart ein hitt og låg 14 veker på R&B-lista til Billboard, der han nådde sjetteplass i 1958.[6]
