Description
Where Have All The Flowers Gone (Seeger-Hickerson) by The Kingston Trio, produced by Voyle Gilmore
The folk trio’s first charted “protest song” of the 1960s was this lyrically ‘circular’ tune, written in 1955 by Pete Seeger, with additional verses added in 1960 by Joe Hickerson. This was also the first significant Kingston Trio hit to include the recently-added John Stewart, who had replaced original group member Dave Guard in 1961.
Pop Chart Peaks: Music Vendor 19, Billboard 21, Cash Box 22
