Description
Little Things Mean A Lot (Stutz-Lindeman) by Kitty Kallen, orchestra conducted by Jack Pleis
By some calculations this was the most popular single of 1954, spending 26 weeks on the Billboard charts...9 of them at #1. Though it was Kallen’s first major hit as a solo artist, she had previously sung on three big band era chart-toppers: “Besame Mucho” (Jimmy Dorsey) and “It’s Been A Long Long Time” & “I’m Beginning To See The Light” (both Harry James). Her follow-up hit to “Little Things Mean A Lot” was “In The Chapel In The Moonlight” (also posted)
