樂曲以山東民間音調為素材，第一段委婉悠長，生動的展示了微山湖美麗的景色，之後運用了頓氣、鋸氣、剁氣等技巧，描寫了微山湖的漁民湖上捕魚的情景及豐收的喜悅。

It was based on Shandong folk music. The tone color of the first part is mellow and clear, vividly showed the beautiful scenery of the Weishan Lake. The techniques like air controlling were used in the latter part to describe the scene of the fishing and show the exaltation of the harvest.
