(Lyrics in CC)【综述】 以百代珍品《相见在梦中》点出陈淑桦歌唱生涯的精髓。每个名人，要流传千古，必须有自己独到之处。陈淑桦演唱过一百多首梦之歌，梦境天后是她独到之处。这个视频最早发出时是在陈淑桦生日之际，但视频内容是常青的。

《相见在梦中》出在陈淑桦入百代后的第二张专辑《海洋之歌》，是一首翻唱的歌（两年前黄莺莺唱过），当时影响不大。陈淑桦歌声如邓丽君一样轻柔年轻，但里面藏着一颗沧桑的心，在她年青时有些歌与她的形象不太相称，被忽视了。《七里香》，《雾》，《相见在梦中》是几个例子。随着时间流逝，她的歌如陈年老酒一样越显出深度。如今大家都经历了风霜，淑桦也离坛多年，回头听这些歌，才体会到里面深藏的意义。

Celebrating Sarah Chen's birthday with her EMI-era song "Meeting in a Dream," one of over 100 dream-themed songs she recorded. This video honors Sarah Chen, our beloved Queen of Dreamland. It highlights a unique aspect of Chen's music—its exploration of dreams and reality.

Although Sarah Chen shares a youthful voice with Teresa Teng, her music carries an old soul, in contrast to Teng's more delightful tunes. When Chen was younger, that sage-like soul in her music came across as incongruent with her youthful image, contributing to the flat reception of some of her songs. As time went by, Chen's music aged extremely well. Much like old wine, her songs became more meaningful as their depth became appreciated.
