細川たかし (Hosokawa Takashi) originally sang this song in October 1969.
This performance was done at Tokyo's NHK Hall on December 15, 1985. English translation and Romaji of the Japanese lyrics are contributed by Dr. Eric Sango (Distinguished Professor of Economics at several universities in the U.S.).
