Almost a year ago, I was invited to perform at an event for A Time, an organization supporting families still waiting for children. At the time, I had two beautiful daughters, but I had been waiting many years for a son, “A Yingele” to call my own. So many nights ended with that tefillah to Hashem… and in one of those moments, live at the event, this melody took its first breath.

Today, on the day of my first son’s bris, I’m releasing it to the world. As I was holding my baby the other day, it all became real, and I switched the high part of the song to a lullaby. What began as a cry from the heart is now wrapped in joy and gratitude. May Hashem bentch every couple still waiting with the sweetest gift, a child to hold in their arms, and may it come soon, with endless bracha!
